What is Prime Source Forum?

Prime Source Forum (PSF) is not limited to the sourcing aspect of the supply chain but represents a valuable source of information of the fashion industry. Since its debut in 2006, this unique platform for the global fashion industry is perceived to be one of the most beneficial and effective promotional channels for the industry. Being held in Hong Kong once a year, PSF brings together some 400 senior executives from 20+ countries to discuss the challenges and opportunities that manufacturers, suppliers and retailers are facing in the supply chain of the apparel industry. For this reason, it is a forum and not a conference as delegate involvement is an important element of its success.

This international event offers ample opportunity for delegates to network with their peers, mingle with expert panelists and exchange ideas with their peers and competitors alike on issues of mutual interest. Past keynote speakers include Mr. Paul Charron, Former Chairman of Liz Claiborne, Dr. William Fung, Group MD of Li & Fung, Mr. Edwin Keh, Former COO of Wal-Mart Global Procurement, Mr. Andrew Wu, LVMH Group Director for China, Mr. Ronald A. Fromm, Chairman of the Board of Brown Shoe Co., Inc. and Mr. Henry Tan, BBS, JP, CEO and President of Luen Thai Holdings Ltd.; MD and President of Luen Thai Intl Group Ltd., Dr. Peter Lau, Chairman and Chief Executive, Giordano Intl Ltd. and many more...

'Sourcing managers in my or senior levels no longer visit local and overseas trade fairs to look for new products nowadays. We consider new suppliers by existing connections, selected referrals or find them at high-end conferences. Ideally, new suppliers are coming to us and display their innovations so that we can make decisions here immediately,’ stated Ms. M. Lo, Sourcing Manager for Far East of one of the top three apparel retailers in Europe.

This is why PSF is still serving the industry nowadays after its staging in the industry for many years.
